Main Objectives

– Supporting and helping families of children living under the shadow of autism by providing various training programs for parents, helping the family to overcome the psychological impact.

– Designing an educational resource for developing the skills of children with autism.

– Create opportunities to teach and practice certain movement skills based on students’ needs and abilities.

– Creating awareness in the community using various means.

What is autism?

Autism is a natural and lifelong developmental difference. Children with autism often have difficulty communicating and interacting with others. Therefore, they have a different understanding of the world. There are no statistics on autism diagnoses in Ethiopia. Recently, however, the problem is believed to be on the rise.

How it got it's name

It is known that the association has very little understanding of children living under the shadow of autism. This can be shown by the fact that many parents keep their children with autism away from society and keep them at home.
Therefore, this organization aims to serve as an eye-opener by playing a leading role in protecting the rights and interests of children by expanding the awareness of autism among such parents and the entire society.
Therefore, it has been named as Eye opener Autism Center because it is known to express this tribute.
